Neutralize develops Web filter for use with Google
Search marketing company Neutralize has developed a search engine filtering service to be used alongside Google, which will help users to generate more relevant search results.
The research project, which has recently launched as a beta trial, uses Google's application programming interface (API) to link into the search engine's database.
The software sits above Google as an additional layer of filtering and manages a list of sites that commonly clog up search engine results.
"This is a filtering service for professional Internet users and will be used to clean up algorithmic listings," said Teddie Cowell, technical director at Neutralize.
